The nominations have been revealed for the 2019 BRIT Awards and a number of familiar faces have made the cut.

Clara Amfo announced the shortlist for the awards ceremony earlier today on ‘The BRITs Are Coming’ on ITV1.

Jorja Smith is leading this year’s BRITs with her nominations for Best Album, Best Female and Best Breakthrough Act where she’s facing Mabel and Ella Mai for the award.

South London’s Giggs has been nominated for Best Male where he’s up against the likes of Craig David and Sam Smith.

Another south Londoner up for a BRIT is Ramz who’s in the running for Best Single for his big hit “Barking” which has racked up 52 million views on YouTube since its release.

2018 was another massive year for Drake so it’s no surprise that the Canadian superstar has been nominated for the Best International Male at this year’s BRITs.

The winners of each category will be announced when the awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday 20th February at the O2 Arena in London.
