The last 7 days have been pretty monumental for US rap music. Last week was solid, but over the course of this week we’ve had releases from some of the biggest guns out there, and some very good releases at that. Whether it’s a gift from the 6 God or a visit to a darker paradise, it’s right here. Check out the one-stop place for the hottest releases from across the pond, courtesy of Griff.

Big Sean ft Kanye West – All Your Fault

Although ‘Dark Sky Paradise’ is not officially out until the 23rd, the project has found its way into the grasps of the internet – and it’s sounding hard as hell. Big Sean is sounding hungrier than ever and really makes a case for himself as one of the best upstarts in the game. Point in evidence, this ridiculous collaboration with mentor Kanye West.

A$AP Ferg – Doe Active

This single came out at the back end of last year, but now Fergenstein has enhanced it with a brand new visual. If you haven’t heard it, the track itself is mental. Think Yeezus-era Kanye but on an immense amount of steroids and you’re half way there.

Action Bronson – Terry

It feels like Action Bronson has been in this feature just about every time I’ve written it, but then with the quality that’s coming out of his camp at the moment it’s no wonder why. ‘Mr Wonderful’ (the album) is fast approaching, but before it does, check out yet another stellar release from the Queens, New York MC, produced by the legendary Alchemist.

Ty Dolla $ign ft. Charli XCX & Tinashe – Drop That Kitty

Enlisting pop-powerhouse production team Stargate, along with the diverse Cashmere Cat, as well as having two songstresses with two of the biggest hooks out last year assist- this track shows Ty$’s chart aspirations. “Drop That Kitty” doesn’t lose the appeal of his other releases, but definitely has a lot of radio potential too. Expect to be hearing this one everywhere you go soon.

Drake – 10 Bands

Although you’ve all surely heard this project by now, I’d be an idiot not to mention it. Out of nowhere, Drake released his incredible mixtape ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’, which has had the internet – and the charts – ablaze ever since. This is one of my personal favourites from the project, so if you haven’t heard it yet, this is the place to start.
