Although Power has just come to an end, it looks like the Power Universe is only just getting started as it has been announced there will be four spin-off shows of the series very soon.

50 Cent, star and executive producer of Power, took to Twitter to announce three new Power spin-offs titled; Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Influence and Power Book V: Force.

Power Book II,
which was first announced last July, will co-star Mary J. Blige and will focus on the events which take place 48 hours after the ending of the original Power series.

Raising Kanan
will be set in the nineties and will follow 50 Cent’s character, Kanan Stark, while Influence will look at Rashad Tate’s quest to make it to the top. Force will focus on Tommy Egan’s journey to leave the world of crime and New York City altogether.

Speaking on the spin-off series, Starz’s president and CEO Jeffrey Hirsch said: “In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time.

“These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of Power’s most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set Power in a class of its own.”

No official release dates for the spin-off series have been confirmed just yet but we’ll be sure to keep you updated once more information is revealed.
