It’s official, Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Chelsea FC, for the second time, how peak is that. The news came today at 2pm, where Chelsea’s board were meeting after their defeat on Monday to decide Mourinho’s future, who also called himself the “chosen one”(I’m sure Arsene Wenger will have something to say about this now).

Right now Chelsea stand one point away from the relegation zone, as well as having lost nine premier league matches, after losing 2-1 to Leicester on Monday. They have only won four of their opening 16 fixtures.

After the Leicester match, Mourinho was disappointed in his players and felt they will not reach top 4. From here it was clear that Mourinho’s future was hanging by a thread.

On the plus side Chelsea made it to the last 16 of the Champions League, and face Paris Saint-Germain, however this will be tough for them. In the Premier League, Chelsea are playing Sunderland at home on 19 December, followed by Watford at home on 26 December and then Manchester United away on 28 December. Watford and Manchester United will be challenging games, so Chelsea definitely need a replacement for Mourinho asap, if they have any chance of moving up in the table. Right now it seems Juande Ramos might be lined up for the job, but it is not 100% confirmed.

Below is a video which shows that the entire blame isn’t just Mourinho, but also the players too.
