A Dot has now joined the roster of the weekday dj’s on 1xtra!
Joining in 2014, she hosted the 1-4 weekend show; now she will be hosting the 1-4 show Sarah Jane Crawford originally had.
A.Dot says: “I’m so excited for The Dotty Show to become part of the weekday schedule on 1Xtra – it’s a massive honour to get to work at my favourite radio station every day. I’m hugely grateful to everyone at 1Xtra for nurturing me during an incredible first year at the station and for being brave enough to unleash me on our listeners 5 days a week! There’s gonna be more music and more mayhem and I can’t wait to get started.”

Sarah-Jane Crawford says: “I would like to thank everyone who has supported me at the BBC, especially all of my fantastic editors and producers who have given me the most wonderful 7 years of radio broadcasting. I am really excited to be starting a new project in LA, however I will be sad to leave such an amazing home as nobody does it quite like 1Xtra and Radio 1.”
