Apple’s first ever scripted series, Vital Signs, will star and be produced by hip-hop legend Dr Dre according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The website states that the series is semi-autobiographical of the rapper and producer, “with each episode focusing on a different emotion and how Dre’s character deals with it.” The show will also feature at least one, er, ‘extended’, orgy scene.
Nor Apple or Dre have commented on the story yet, but Dre is reportedly filming the six-episode series right now with director Paul Hunter, who is most well known for his videos with artists like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Britney Spears and Michael Jackson.
Each episode will run for half an hour and will be distributed by Apple Music unusually, considering it is a “dark drama with no shortage of violence and sex.”
Dr Dre and Apple already have a solid relationship, as the technology giant bought Beats by Dre in 2014 for $3 billion.
