Earlier this year Kojey Radical joined forces with rising Swedish producer Lupus Cain to a create his first single of 2015, “Bambu: Never Worried”.

A completely unique blend of genres, combining spoken word poetry with a trap influenced instrumentation which has already been making waves; “Bambu” was premiered by Sian Anderson on BBC 1Xtra and we’ve now been blessed with the exciting visuals which dropped yesterday via THE FADER.

The visual centres around the idea of perception; using contemporary dance and performance art to gesture the struggles of inner city decay, and how that is translated and celebrated within music and urban culture. It perfectly combines the aesthetic of a modern fashion film with the stylised movement and grittiness of drill music and trap videos.

The film, directed by filmmaking duo The Rest, features garments from Ada + Nik , DIORALOP and Manuel Diaz and was styled by Kojey himself in conjunction with the BAMBU PHOTOGRAPHED BY NXSH fashion story.
