Member of North West London’s U.S.G crew K Koke gained himself considerable critical acclaim with the UK rap scene with video’s such as his Fire In The Booth (DJ Charlie Sloth, 1Xtra) freestyle which racked up over a million views. These credits earned K Koke a record deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation but his road to success nearly came to an end with a murder trial in 2011 when Koke was suspected of shooting and killing an unidentified 27-year-old but was soon acquitted in late 2011 leaving him to continue work on his Roc Nation album.
