Supermarket giant ASDA are following the French’s attempts at limiting waste by trialling the sales of their “Wonky veg” box, a box filled with a huge pile of vegetables unfit to be on store shelves.
The boxes only cost £3.50 and are being trialled in 128 stores across the country, and contain ugly or incorrectly sized carrots, cabbages, potatoes, leeks, parsnips, onions, pears, apples, citrus fruits, sweet potatoes and garlic. Sounds good right?
