Last night (and a lot of this morning) Azealia Banks turned Twitter upside down once again with some outrageously offensive comments.
For reasons we don’t quite understand, she began hurling abuse at Zayn Malik, calling him disgustingly bigoted names like “sand nigga” and a “curry scented punjab”.
From there things got even worse, as she took aim at 14 year old actress Skai Jackson, gave homophobic abuse to pop producer MNEK and even got into it with the likes of Manga, Milli Major and just about the entire UK grime and rap scene.
We’re not going to humour her by posting what she said about our scene, but it led to calls for her to be removed from her headline slot at Born & Bred Festival. Azealia added that she will be prepared for a negative response from the London crowd by bringing a firearm to the set. Rinse FM have since made this announcement:

Although she has made some seemingly valid points on social media in the past (namely on this now infamous interview with Hot 97), this looks set to be a step too far. She’s taken digs at far too many people now, so we’ve decided to take a look back at some of the most prominent ones.
T.I. & Tiny
Back in 2014, Azealia Banks fired some seriously offensive shots at legendary southern rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny. She called her “meth face”. T.I. swiftly came to his wife’s defense, saying he would end AB; she of course took this as an opportunity to threaten to sue.
Rita Ora
Way back in 2013, these two femme fatales apparently got into it behind the scenes of Future Music Festival, before it spilled onto the e-streets. Azealia called Rita “thirsty”, which prompted a lengthy and vicious reply; “At the end of the day I don’t know who the f**k u think u think you are secondly u don’t know me I’ve done nothing but try b nice to u 3rdly ur dancers were talkn to me further mire ill see ur a** at the motherf**kin concert.”
Wale
Just last month, Azealia Banks came with one of her more controversial feuds. It began with a rant agaisnt black men, with MMG rapper Wale quick to jump in, saying, ““We are all terrified of you. Public embarrassment is a real fear. U prolly have thousands of ppl scared to say anything 2u”. She responded by saying, ““If I could put all the n—-rs who think like you in jail, I would”. Sheesh.
Perez Hilton
Sure, Perez Hilton might be super annoying, but that doesn’t warrant some of the abuse he received from public enemy number one. She called him a “messy faggot”, after he sided with Angel Haze (another american, female rapper that she took it upon herself to beef with. C’mon Azealia…
Iggy Azalea
Azealia Bankd and Iggy Azalea have history that goes all the way back to 2011. In 2014 Azealia was probably the one coming off better in the feud, as she raised comments on black issues and appropriation, while Iggy remained ignorant. However since then we’ve had racism and pettiness from both sides, with Azealia putting the cherry on top this year by sending death threats.
