As Baby Yoda has become something of an internet sensation as of late, it can not simply refrain from being something that has begun to dominate social media. With his meme-based comical value, his presence has become bizarre to say the least.
However, times are becoming even crazier as there is now a petition to turn Baby Yoda into an emoji on Apple devices. Change.org is now the home of a “Make Baby Yoda an Emoji” petition which has already surpassed 10,000 signatures.
The person who started the petition, Travis Bramble, said, “I think Baby Yoda should be an emoji. He stole our hearts and now I want him to steal our keyboard space. Your friend has a new born baby? Respond with a cute little Baby Yoda emoji to show that you think her cute little rascal is cute beyond words.”
The petition started five days ago and has become an obvious hit. The Disney series which gave Baby Yoda it’s stardom, The Mandalorian, is currently in the middle of its eight-episode season and a second one has already been announced.
