East London’s very own Barney Artist has gifted us with his new mixtape, Bars Are Bars.
The new project from Barney Artist comes after the rapper wrapped up his most recent tour which saw him take to cities such as his hometown of London, as well as the likes of Leeds, Manchester, Oxford and more.
On his new 13-track mixtape, the east ender titles many of the tracks after cities he reached on his tour, and pays homage to other areas with a deep connection to him, such as the reflective, Riddle-produced “Wanstead Flats”. Production on the project comes from a range of producers including Tom Misch, DJ Fresh, Freddie Joachim and many others – with their different styles, alongside Barney’s clean lyricism, coming together to give us a smooth, new hip-hop tape.
