Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter Bobbi Kristina, has sadly passed away at the young age of 22.
Bobbi passed away in the hospice care facility at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, where she had been since June 24. She was surrounded by her family.
Bobbi was found in the bathtub on January 31, where she was reportedly under water for 2-5 minutes, before being pulled out. She was then rushed to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, where she was under a ventilator to assist her breathing. From here onwards she was placed in a medically induced coma at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital and was therefore placed on life support. Two months later she was moved to a rehabilitation center till June 24, before being moved to the hospice care center.
Her medication was withdrawn as Bobby Brown and Pat Houston, who were guardians for Bobbi, made this decision, as they had clearly attempted everything possible to battle the condition that Bobbi was in. Even the doctors had recently said that there was no chance of recovery with the state that Bobbi was in.
“She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the Houston family expressed in a statement to ET. “We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
Her mother Whitney Houston passed away after a drug overdose in 2012, where she was also found unconscious in the bathtub.
