Croydon’s very own Bonkaz has blessed us with his debut album, Fame & Forgiveness.
With several mixtapes to his name, Bonkaz is no stranger to delivering projects but on Fame & Forgiveness, the artist exhibits his ability to create a well-structured and intricate body of work.
As well as showcasing his lyricism and flows on the recently released single “Khabib Style”, we also hear a more introspective tone from Bonkaz on tracks such as “Corner Stone” where the rapper honours his mother. The album also includes features from fellow skilled rappers Avelino and Wretch 32, and J Warner who provides his vocals on “When You’re Here”.
Prior to its release, Bonkaz took to Twitter to pen a heartfelt message to his fans. “I can’t believe my album is actually out in just over an hour. Everything I’ve done in music has lead me to this point”, he wrote.
“My heart and soul has gone into this body of work & I finally get to share it with the world! Please just take this in & let me know how it makes you feel.”
