Stormzy, ‘Top Boy’ & ‘The Rap Game UK’ Nominated for 2020 Broadcast Awards

The Broadcast Awards have unveiled the nominees for their 2020 edition and making the shortlist are individuals and programmes which have made major waves in the scene.

South London’s very own Stormzy has received a nomination in the ‘Best Music Programme’ category for his powerful performance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on BBC2. The performance is up against The Brit Awards 2019, The Live Lounge Show and more.

The much-loved series Top Boy is in the running for ‘Best Drama Series or Serial’, competing against other popular shows such as Peaky Blinders and Chernobyl.

BBC3’s The Rap Game UK – presented by DJ Target, Krept and Konan – has also been nominated for a 2020 Broadcast Award, competing for a chance to win the prize for ‘Best Multi-Channel Programme’.

The winners will be revealed on February 5th 2020 at Grosvenor House.
