Cardi B and Offset will divorce after 1 year of marriage. The Bronx raised “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to Instagram to announce that herself and Migos member Offset have broken up.
In the emotional video Cardi said, “Things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault…I guess we just grew out of love”.

The news comes after multiple cheating scandals and frequent rumours of Offset’s infidelity with strippers and other rappers; most recently an alleged threesome with rapper Cuban Doll and one of her friends.
Cardi previously discussed her relationship with Offset during happier times in an interview. She said, “When I got married with my dude, we still had a lot of doubts, because our relationship is not like everybody’s. He was always travelling, and I was always travelling. We’re artists. So I used to see him, like, twice a week, and, you know, he’s known for having different women, and I’m known for, like, not taking shit from guys. But we really loved each other, and we was scared to lose each other.”
When an alleged sex tape featuring Offset with another woman leaked onto social media, Cardi tweeted, “No, it’s not right for a nigga to cheat…But what you want me to do? Go fuck me another nigga? Start all over again and get cheated on again? This shit happens to everyone and…you too…People handle they relationship different soo…”.
Offset publicly proposed to Cardi B live onstage at the Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia in October of last year. The rapper later revealed however that the two had already married two months prior in September and that the proposal was their public announcement.
Cardi said, “There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself. Getting married was one of those moments! One morning in September, we woke up and decided to get married. We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said “I do”, with no dress no make-up and no ring!”.
Cardi B gave birth to their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus in July 2018. During this time, rumours were swirling that Offset had another baby due with another woman however Cardi and Offset both denied this.
