After 10 years working across BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra Charlie Sloth has announced that he will be leaving the network.
The Fire In The Booth host has decided to leave his The 8th show behind him in what sources say is to join the Apple Music team in hosting a new show over on Beats 1. As Sloth owns the rights to the Fire In The Booth franchise we can only expect that it’s going with him. With FITB videos from Drake, Giggs and Dave pulling in millions of views each it will be a massive boost for Apple Music and Beats 1.
This isn’t the first time a presenter has left the BBC to join Apple Music with Zane Lowe making the move back in 2015 taking a handful of producers with him.
