This week we have two knitted releases from Nike and Adidas.

Nike’s release is a joining of two favourites, creating The Ultra Flyknit. The Air Force 1, one of Nike’s most recognisable and legendary silhouettes, has been joined together with the materials of the modern favourite, the Flyknit.

For the sole, the designers have kept the concentric circles on the shoe pivots, in addition to the AIR lettering and tooling. For a change, the lettering is now debossed rather than embossed, and the tooling is now comprised of injected unit rubber tooling instead of the usual polyurethane tooling to make the shoe even lighter.

The Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit is released in the Flyknit favourite, multicolour, and University Red for Nike Sportswear, plus an all-white Air Force 1 colorway for NikeLab.
