Desperados have challenged 3 teams of creative mavericks to take on challenges in their cities, judged by Desperados and the four industry mentors.
The creative teams from Bristol, London and Manchester have been set the tasks to bravely overcome perceived limitations and conventions and get their cities (and eventually the whole of the UK) to sit up and take notice.
During the extent of the competition each team will face multiple challenges to prove they’re the most able to complete these and take over their city!
THE FOURTH & FINAL CITY CHALLENGE:
After the third city challenge where each team (London, Manchester & Bristol) were challenged to put on one of the biggest parties their cities had ever seen, the teams had to use the results of their summers’ efforts to lead their city to victory at London’s Building 6 on Friday 25th September, by rocking the party harder than anyone else on the bill.
To win this final challenge, the teams needed to bring the party hard enough to steal and retain the crowd from the main room.
5 ways to steal the show:
1. Kick off with an all-vinyl old-school garage set…
2. Follow that by a banging multi-genre mix
3. Fill the room up with legendary special guest PA’s (like the queen of the d&b vocal Jenna G and living legend General Levy)
4. Find more legends like Roni Size to take over the decks
5. Add some graffiti art, giant LED walls light sculptures and throw in free massages (random, but amazing)
