2018 has been full of surprises and the latest one has come from hip-hop mogul, Diddy, who has taken to Instagram to praise Stormzy.
On Saturday night (June 9), Diddy posted a clip of Stormzy’s hit single “Shut Up” on his Instagram account, accompanied by the caption “I see you King @stormzyofficial”.
Since sharing the video with his 10.7 million followers, the post has racked up over 900,000 views.
Unsurprisingly, the post caught the attention of Stormzy and the artist responded to Diddy’s praise in the comments.
“This has made my day and my life thank you King” Stormzy wrote, “you inspire me more than you would know”.
Diddy’s shout out comes just a week after Stormzy was presented with the prestigious Ivor Novello Album Award for his 2017 LP ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’.
