Doing Numbers: Slowthai Gets A Top 10 with his debut album ‘Nothing Great About Britain’

Slowthai released his highly anticipated debut album Nothing Great About Britain last week and it has gone straight in at number nine on the album charts. He had two collabs on the album which were with Jaykae and Skepta. Slowthai’s track with Skepta “Inglorious” charted this week at number 50 but should climb its way down over the next couple of weeks.

Tyler, the Creator released his latest album IGOR which is different in style and tone to anything he has released before. The album has gone straight in at number four on the album charts and three tracks have charted this week. He has also received another top 20 with the track “Earfquake” which went in at number 17, “I Think” charted at number 30 and “Igor’s Theme” at 41.

Last week Tyler had his UK ban revoked after a long three year restriction. To celebrate, Tyler planned a show in Peckham but it was shut down by police. Read more about this here.

Digga D released his debut project Double Tap Diaries last week which has gone straight in at number 11 in the album charts. “P4DP” from the project has gone into the charts aswell at number 54 which should move down soon. “No Diet” has been in the charts for five weeks and has climbed eight places up this week to number 25. Stormzy slides down to number 4 this week with his latest track “Vossi Bop”. Dave is at number 11 with “Location” which features Burna Boy and “Keisha and Becky” from Russ and Tion Wayne is at number 14. Hardy Caprio and DigDat have made it to number 20 with “Guten Tag” and “Fashion Week” just slips from the top 20 at number 23. Watch the visuals to “Guten Tag” here.

This week, NSG released their highly anticipated new track “OT Bop” which will be set to chart very soon, the visuals for the track can be found here. Ms Banks has also released her track “Remember The Name” which we should see in the charts very soon.
