I just had to write about English Frank. This guys name is currently getting tossed around Twitter, and with GrimeDaily documenting a freestyle, which in truth, is absolutely insane, I thought it was impossible not to write about it.

After hearing this freestyle, it’s hard not to be taken aback by his anger, truth, and aggressive spitting. The anger he raps him, makes it honest, his honesty makes it gripping lyrics, and the flow he’s got with them lyrics is infectious. All these components, whichever way you look at it, are inspiring and Grime in a nutshell.

This is one guy I think we won’t expect to go mainstream and sell out. He makes it clear he doesn’t need Grime to make a living, he does it more as a tool of expressing himself, and English Frank does that so well.

Check out other English Frank videos and freestyles. The standard doesn’t slip. He is just as angry, passionate and skilful with his words as he is in the previous video. One artist I will gladly watch rapping for hours and hours.
