On Thursday night 4 of the UK’s most highly respected independent labels in the UK went back to back in a live Soundclash on BBC 1Xtra.
Hosted by MistaJam and judged by A Dot and DJ Target, the 4 sounds participating included: MTA Records, 3Beat, Black Butter Records and Hospital.
– Chase and Status label MTA is home to the likes of Knytro and Dream Mclean.
– Stylo G, Skepta, Fuse ODG, Sway and Lethal Bizzle reside over at 3Beat.
– Black Butter records includes notable names Rudimental, Clean Bandit, Jess Glynne, Scrufizzer and their latest US signee, Tink.
– Drum and Bass label Hospital is where you’ll find the likes of High Contrast, London Elektricity, Netsky, Danny Byrd.
The teams went in with the dubs, which included personalised sounds from the likes of Meridian Dan, Harry Styles, Stormzy, OT Genasis and more.
