The Parklife Weekender is back for 2013 and hits Heaton Park, Manchester on 08 and 09 June. The event is set to showcase a mix of genres, with Wretch 32, Rita Ora, Plan B, Example and Rudimental taking over the main stage.

L Marshall has already proved how talented he is in the industry through featuring on tracks such as Wretch 32’s ‘Traktor’, which he co-wrote, to Loick Essien’s ‘How We Roll’, and this is just a handful of what he has achieved.

He now has released his new single ‘Fire’, for which a lyric video has also been released.

This single will be a part of his own solo project, which will include 11 tracks, in terms of an EP or a mixtape, and is titled ‘Kiss The Fire’. This project will clearly show how talented he is within singing, rapping and songwriting.

L Marshall will be releasing a music video every two weeks over two months, which will be exciting to see and will be sure to create a buzz around ‘Kiss The Fire’.

After a very successful comedy night and cook off Afcar brings you the next charity event; The Game. This will be to further raise money for charities such as The Jason Roberts Foundation, which provides opportunities for young people to participate in sports and cultural activities; The Sodje Sports Foundation which donates sports equipment to deprived areas of the UK and Nigeria and also the Damilola Taylor Trust and many more.

Chris Brown revealed that he will be featuring unreleased Aaliyah vocals on his upcoming single They Don’t Know.

Cramping slightly on Drake who used Aaliyah vocals in Enough Said last year, Chris Brown announced during the BET Awards press conference: “I got something special for my fans. It’s called They Don’t Know, all new stuff that’s never been heard before”.

Speaking about the visuals for the track, he added that it would be set in the hood: “Bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I’m from. I’m from Virginia, but everybody comes from a broken home or being broke – I remember when I was”.

They Don’t Know will be featured on Breezy’s sixth studio album, X, which is set for release on July 16. Alongside the late R&B singer Aaliyah, the album will also include collaborations from Nicki Minaj and Kendrick Lamar.

Surprisingly, Kanye West allegedly wants to work with Tulisa on her second album. According to The Sun newspaper, the rapper wanted to help out the N-Dubz star after her poor sales of her debut album Female Boss.

A source told the newspaper:

“Look at what Will.I.Am did for Britney Spears recently. Tulisa is still one of the most famous women in the country and a lot of young girls look up to her — her fan base proves that.

“It’s well within her grasp to turn it all around. All it takes is one hit.”
