In a new interview with The Fader, several young UK artists have sat down to discuss just what they’d do if they were made Prime Minister.
Although the next general election isn’t to be held until 2020, we’re hoping that it gives some of the names on the list – Yungen and Fekky for example – a chance to genuinely step up and run for prime minister. Already know they’ve got our vote…
Grime MC Jammz kept things topical saying, “How can the prime minister be doing the same thing that he’s passing legislations against? I’d make it so that if any member of parliament was found to be doing the same, they’d lose their seat. Serve the public or leave it, innit.
“Oh yeah, and I’d tell Jimmy Iovine to make grime a category on iTunes. Obviously.”, he added. These are defo some policies we can get down with.
