Last night (January 26), some of the biggest names in the music industry took to the Los Angeles Staples Centre for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. While Billie Eilish dominated the night with five wins, Lil Nas X, Tyler, the Creator and 21 Savage were also amongst the winners.

The late rapper Nipsey Hussle won the awards for Best Rap/Sung Performance alongside DJ Khaled and John Legend for their track “Higher” and Best Rap Performance for his record featuring Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy “Racks in the Middle.” Just under a year after his passing, Lauren London took to the stage to accept his first-ever Grammy Award alongside his family.

Jamaica’s very own Koffee also scooped up an award, winning Best Reggae Album for her efforts on Rapture.

Lil Nas X took home the awards for Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Groupon Performance for “Old Town Road” as Tyler, the creator won Best Rap Album for Igor and 21 Savage featuring J Cole “A Lot” was awarded Best Rap Song.

It’s no surprise that Lizzo won multiple awards for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Traditional R&B Performance considering she lead the way with eight nominations while Beyonce won Best Music Film for Homecoming.
