Rumours are swirling that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be set in London.

Rockstar have offices in the UK and are very in touch with British culture – Grand Theft Auto V recently saw the arrival of iFruit Radio which housed tracks from J Hus, Skepta, D Block Europe, Headie One, AJ Tracey, Skepta and more.

Now, fans think that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be set in the UK and gamers are convinced that this map from the unreleased game has been leaked.

The map shows Lambeth, Southwark and the City of Westminster as locations.

If legit, GTA 6 would be a departure from the usual style of the franchise in its 3D era which tends to parody the names of real locations.

For example, Vinewood as Hollywood, Los Santos as Los Angeles and Liberty City as New York.

It is also possible that the map is still in its early stages of development and writers are yet to apply names to the London locations.

Die-hard Grand Theft Auto fans will remember the Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 and 1961 mission packs which were released in the late 90s and allowed players to commit crimes across Bermondsey, Southwark, Westminster, Chelsea and more.

With the map floating around socials, many have taken to Twitter and Instagram to hilariously imagine what the game of GTA in London would look like.
