Ever elusive, the man, the myth, the legend, Ice Kid has announced he has a new project in the works, for now tentatively titled ’11’.

Following on from his already iconic and very surprising performance at Culture Clash, he recently sat down with the MOBOs for a new interview. It was here that he announced details of an upcoming new project, his first in 5 years. Although he didn’t confirm an exact release date, he did say it’s “dropping soon”.

The former Wiley protege also touched on his relationship with the Godfather of Grime, as well as his fellow mentee Chip. On Chip, he said, “(Culture Clash) was the first time we’ve seen each other in a very long time. Really, I was just as shocked as he was. I nearly stopped spitting to say “what’s up”.

“Wiley is my brother”, he continued. “In the early stages of my career up until now, he has played a crucial part and all I can say is I’m thankful. God bless Wiley.”

Hopefully Ice Kid wastes no time and provides us with some new music as soon as possible.
