Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated 3rd studio album titled ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ has been released a week earlier than expected.

Members of Kendrick’s label, Top Dawg Entertainment, an imprint of Interscope and partner to Aftermath Records, tweeted this morning that Interscope “f*cked up” Kendrick’s album release, claiming the early output to be a “mistake”.

The Compton MC later tweeted out simply “Keep Calm. All Is Well” which suggests that TDE and Lamar have the situation under control.

The early release doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, with “King Kunta” (track 3) leaking on the weekend along with the final tracklist which has replaced the previously untitled iTunes tracklist.

Whilst TDE might be disappointed with the early release, I’m sure that Kendrick fans across the world are more than alright with the album releasing early after having to wait over 2 years since Kendrick’s last studio album, ‘g.o.o.d kid, m.A.A.d city’.

If you haven’t copped the album yet, get you hands on it here or stream below.
