Is a Meridian Crew reunion happening soon?

Every grime head is aware of the Meridian Crew, the North London based unit who’s members back in the mid-noughties boasted some of the best veterans we’ve ever had, before their dissolution. With former members like Skepta and Jme, as well as Meridian Dan and Big H, forming their own respective Boy Better Know and Bloodline collectives and achieving some massive things, it seemed unlikely that they could all get back together in one place and reunite as Meridian Crew.

However, President T has led us to believe that may not be the case. In a recent interview with Complex UK, Prez stated that some sort of reunion between all the members could be on the cards, and sooner than you might think.

When asked about a Bloodline collaborative album, he said, “There’s no point, at least for the next six months to a year, for Bloodline as a collective to do any group projects. It’s best to focus on our solo projects and when every other member of the camp gets to a serious level then, obviously, it’s within our best interests to do a collective project.”

He went on to say, “I’m more interested in doing a Meridian reunion-type project. I’ve been speaking to Meridian Dan about that and we’re definitely looking to make it happen soon.”

Although this is in no way a confirmation of a Meridian Crew reunion, when one of the founding fathers talks like that, it’s hard not to get excited. Lets hope that all of the original members can get together and cook up something sick, whether it be a tour, an album or something totally different.
