Izzie Gibbs has gone hard on his latest project, an EP which dropped at midnight last night going by the name Yin Yang.
In the hours leading up to the release, Northampton’s Gibbs graced us with the video for the EP’s opening track “Outta da Hood” which whetted everyone’s appetite for what the 21 year old had in store for us.
The result is a hard release from the predominantly grime artist. Izzie’s sound has evolved over his career from outward to inward reflection. Though that doesn’t mean that the bravado is gone – on tracks like “Chillin” with Donae’o, Gibbs’ swag shines through.
