UK Legend Jammer has been honoured with a plaque to celebrate him for his contribution to British culture.

Jammer has been given a blue plaque to place on his mother’s house, an official sign which highlights a location as a “historical marker” or location of cultural significance.

This address houses the basement that was the birthplace and origin of Lord of the Mics; one of the most important platforms to ever exist in the UK music scene.

In an Instagram post, Jammer expresses gratitude for the plaque. He wrote, “So Yesterday!! The London Borough of Waltham Forest presented me with a Plaque for the front of my mums house for the contribution to the Borough and to UK music by letting the basement be a space to record @lordofthemics and create a platform for young youth from anywhere on the earth. I can believe it but I still can’t believe it #NeverGiveUp #StayPushing. Thank you Mum big my Dad aswelL and the rest of the family.
