South London’s finest John Boyega beat fierce competition to be awarded, ‘EE Rising Star of 2016’ at the BAFTA’s this evening.
Voted by the public, Boyega gets the award after playing lead role of Finn in the new Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
When winning the award he said;
“I want to thank God for this moment. I have some very special people in my life… I’m going to share this award with all the young dreamers who are hard-working… This is for you.”
