First up this week we have the newest release of the Jordan Spizike, an edition of the classic shoe which combines elements of the Jordan III, IV, V, VI and XX. The new colourway consists of a sleek, near-matte black upper sprinkled with paint splatter and an elephant print around the heel and toebox.

The shoe is finished with a white midsole and grey sole offsetting the overall darkness, and the mesh underlay is another nice touch.

The Spizike is released at 8am on Wednesday 20th May and will be available from Wellgosh and END for £129.

The newest update from Adidas this week comes from their “Brewery” collection in collaboration with Swedish store SneakersnStuff and is available exclusively from their website.

The capsule collection re-creates three Adidas silhouettes in colour schemes associated with the Stockholm Brewing Co. which sits across the road from the SneakersnStuff store in Stockholm, and can be found in the form of a Stan Smith, EQT Running Guidance ’93 and ZX Flux.

The EQT Running Guidance ’93 “Malt” takes on the overall brewery theme, with contrasting mint accenting on the toebox (a homage to aged copper) and a beige upper, echoing the natural beige shade of malt. Tiny hints of copper across the shoe are reminiscent of the copper kettles used to brew beer in, and the shoe is completed with a black sole. This silhouette is released in all sizes on the 20th of May.

The second shoe from the collection is the Stan Smith “Copper Kettle” which is of course based on the kettles used in Breweries to brew beer, and is released in all sizes on May 23rd.

The upper of the shoe is a glistening liquid copper colour and of course holds Stan’s face on the tongue, guarding natural malt coloured lining and outsole. This edition also features unique artwork on the insoles of the shoe which combines the Adidas logo and images of hops. Can you taste the beer yet?

The final piece of this release is the ZX Flux “Aged Copper” designed to, you guessed it, resemble aged copper.

The Flux’s upper is actually a photo print of real aged copper, taken directly from the roof of the brewery the shoes are inspired by. A black heel cage and three stripes accents the shoe, made in a textured leather. The natural lining is repeated on this pair and brings the pack together, along with the same creative artwork found on the Stans’ insoles also featuring on this silhouette.

Grab a pair on May 30th.
