After teasing us with singles from the project over the past few weeks, Kano has finally gifted us with his long-awaited album, Hoodies All Summer.
Serving as the follow-up to his 2016 LP Made in the Manor, Kano’s latest project fittingly begins with “Free Years Later” – a play on words and a nod to his absence – and despite his lengthy break from music, the veteran rapper uses the tape to demonstrate he’s still got what it takes to make a complete body of work.
As well as showcasing his mic abilities, Hoodies All Summer also sees KA create heartfelt tracks with “Teardrops” and “Got My Brandy, Got My Beats”, and express a few of his observations on today’s current society on tracks such as “Good Youtes Walk Amongst Evil” and the recently released “Trouble”.
The tape is filled with the east ender’s slick delivery of classic quotables, seamless flows and and we also see features from D Double E, Ghetts, Kojo Funds, Popcaan and Lil Silva.
Make sure you listen to Hoodies All Summer below before going back to see Kano’s brand-new video for “Pan-Fried” featuring Kojo Funds.
