Following on from a week of negative headlines, after bizarre rants and cancelled tour stops, it is being reported that Kanye West has been admitted to hospital.
Buzzfeed News received a statement from LAPD that said they had responded to a disturbance in West Hollywood at 1:20 PM, that then became “a medical call.”
Although unnamed in the statement due to privacy laws, sources have said that the male involved, who subsequently agreed to seek medical help, was Kanye West.
This week Kanye West cancelled the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo tour, following a series of rants in which he supported Donald Trump and called out former friends Jay Z and Beyonce.
Kim Kardashian has reportedly cancelled her public appearances – the first since her robbery in Paris – to be at her husband’s side.
Here’s hoping Kanye can get all the help he needs, as despite his unpopular opinions and large ego, he is undoubtedly one of the most important artists of our generation.
