The long time Hollywood actor and star of the Taken franchise reveals a shameful act he’d committed in the past during a recent interview.

In an interview with the British newspaper The Independent regarding his new role in upcoming film Cold Pursuit, the movie star Liam Neeson admitted to a racially-charged revenge plot. The actor told the interviewer that after one of his loved ones was sadly raped, upon finding out the race of the offender, he proceed to scour his local area at night in the hope of achieving a bloody revenge.

The interview went as follows: “I went up and down areas with a cosh, hoping I’d be approached by somebody—I’m ashamed to say that—and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some [Neeson gestures air quotes with his fingers] ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could,” another pause, “kill him.”

Neeson did go onto state that he regretted his past actions, and that the whole ordeal taught him a lesson, however these comments may appear problematic for the producers of Cold Pursuit, which incidentally has a plot premised on a lust for vengeance after a violent act is committed.
