Louis Theroux is a gangster, no doubt about it. His documentaries over the last 20 years have been weird, wonderful and the perfect hangover viewing for us all. Stormzy is the future, the forefront of the new generation of grime and youth’s mainstream take over. Now imagine what those two could do if they joined forces? Mad, right?

Well, maybe we’re closer to that utopia than we realise. The two have been showing each other love on Twitter this morning and it’s got us excited.

It started this morning when the Guardian dropped their feature on the Wicked Skeng Man, in which he’s rocking Homage Tee’s Louis Theroux t-shirt. He’s not the first to wear it that’s for sure – Stormz’ girlfriend Maya Jama, Piff Gang’s Nick Bam and Wavey Garms founder Rhiannon Barry have all been seen rocking the iconic tee – but having it feature in a Guardian feature article is next level.

Stormzy even name check’s Louis in the interview, “Louis Theroux is a G! I take my hat off to him, he’s good!”

Turns out Louis spotted the homage and tweeted his mutual love for Stormz this morning, and Stormzy even replied to him.

Who knows what the future holds for the pair? Could it be an in-depth BBC documentary about Stormz for the BBC? Or, even better, could Louis make his grime debut with a feature verse on an upcoming Big Mike track? Who knows, but we’re watching this space closely.
