Last night’s MTV European Music Awards saw some huge moments. Stormzy rolled on stage in a police car, a swimming pool came up from the ground and Eminem won an award after releasing one track and a freestyle this year.
Something much more awkward however was MC Grindah meeting actor and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto. Rita Ora was interviewing Leto when Grindah chipped in, commenting, “I’ve always wanted to meet Jay Leno,” laughing to himself.
Not pleased with the joke, Leto responded, “Sorry, what was your name again?”. Grindah responds, “Grindah”, to which Leto repeats, “Sorry, what was your name again?”, leading to mass cringe accross the internet.
