With months of promotion and trash talking between the two iconic fighters, a mega bout between Connor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather has apparently finally been agreed.
What started as the ideal wet dream for any fan of boxing or UFC has now evolved into one of the world’s biggest “billion dollar” fight.
The Irish Sun broke the news and cited a source close to McGregor. They told the paper, “The contract hasn’t officially been signed yet because of a third-party holdup, but all the details have all been agreed on.
“The fight could even be announced within two weeks,” he confirmed, which is bound to send fans of the sports into a frenzy.
Mayweather has reportedly said that he won’t fight again for anything less than $100 million, so you already know there’s going to be an insane amount of cash floating around this event.
The American boxed had previously, “I believe the fight could happen… Let’s give the fans what they want to see.”
