Philly native Meek Mill released the surprise project ‘4/4’ last night and took aim at the rap juggernauts Drake and 50 Cent.
On his remix of “I’m The Plug”, Meek reignited his beef with Drake by making reference to ‘The 6 God’s’ infamous “Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?” line from the Grammy nominated “Back To Back”.
The instrumental on the track is taken from Drake’s mixtape with Future, ‘What A Time To Be Alive’. Meek raps: “Was that my girl tour or the world tour?/ I do not know what you pussy niggas go for/ This that 100k a night when you perform tour/ Swimming in that good pussy while you on tour.”
Meek then takes aim at the G-Unit boss on “Give Em’ Hope” when he mentions the number 50 several times and adds: “You know the game, if you cosign a rat, you forever a rat / We were never with that / You tried to go ‘Money’ May with that paper, but now you in debt cause you never were that.”
The “rat” line is reference to 50 taking a picture with the housekeeper that sued Rick Ross after he was pistol-whipped and kidnapped by Rozay and the “debt” comment stems from 50 filing for bankruptcy last year.
