While the world is still taking in Drake and his latest “playlist” album More Life, the impact of his star power is already becoming obvious.

The real winners from the project could be our very own UK artists. Giggs, Skepta, Sampha, Jorja Smith and producer Nana Rogues all make contributions to the album.

While we await the final first week streaming numbers at the end of the month – More Life is sure fire to take the number one spot across the world – some interesting figures are coming out off of the back of it already.

Spotify has claimed that over the weekend, there was a 146% increase in streaming figures from a US audience on Giggs and his own solo music.

While American’s might not fully understand our culture straight off the bat – there were some pretty funny (and equally sad) memes coming out – the influence Drake has on the industry is undeniable.
