A British mother has started a Twitter campaign to get justice and answers for what she believes is mistreatment and police brutality towards her 15-year-old son Terrell Decosta Jones-Burton.
She wrote that Terrell was on his way home from the shop with friends when police approached him claiming he was involved with a robbery, proceeding to beat him up. She writes that later the accusation turned to the robbery of a mobile phone.
People have begun to show their support on Twitter for Terrell, starting a #JUSTICEFORTERRELL hashtag and tweeting the Met police for answers.
The police are yet to release a statement.
