After years of anticipation, Nas has released the long-awaited sequel to The Lost Tapes.
Announced earlier last month, The Lost Tapes 2 is the follow-up to the critically-acclaimed compilation The Lost Tapes, released back in 2002. The latest compilation features unreleased material from Nas’ previous four studio albums, as well as production from the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz, RZA, and many more.
Notably, Kanye West produced the entirety of Nas’ previous album, Nasir, released in June of last year.
The Lost Tapes 2 went through several delays over the past two decades. It was intended for release as early as 2003, however issues behind-the-scenes prevented it from becoming available to the public.
