Netflix are currently preparing for the release of the highly-anticipated season three of Top Boy and to keep the momentum up, they’ve shared a few teaser trailers – and a few first-look images – for the series.
The new teasers don’t give too much information away, but they do provide insight into the cast and their characters – namely Little Simz who plays Shelley and Dave who plays Modie.
As well as Simz and Dave, we’re also introduced to two more new characters – Jamie and Jaq played by Michael Ward and Jasmine Jobson.
We also see Ashley Walters and Kano returning as their iconic characters Dushane and Sully, with one of the first-look images previewing what looks like an intense stand-off between Sully and Modie.
The official trailer for season three of Top Boy premiered during Drake’s UK tour earlier on this year. After becoming a fan of the show as a viewer, the Toronto star helped bring the show’s writers together to create the third season.
Season 3 of Top Boy is set to be released this autumn and judging by the previews above – as well as the images below – it will be just as gritty as the first two seasons.
