A new docuseries all about the life of Tupac Shakur has been confirmed by Allen Hughes, the director of the Dr Dre & Jimmy Lovine series, The Defiant Ones.
The project will look into Tupacs life and career before his tragic death at the age of just 25.
Hughes has an agreement with Tupacs estate, with the estate saying that it will be “the first definitive, comprehensive project on Shakur with the full cooperation of the estate”.
The deal means Hughes has been granted access to all of Tupacs released and unreleased recordings on top of other poetry and writings.
A release date for the new five-part series is yet to be confirmed.
