Nicki Minaj has been pretty quiet on the scene recently since breaking up with Meek Mill a couple months ago, but after Remy Ma sent for her on savage diss track “Shether” we knew she’d have to come out of the shadows and make her return.

As well as responding to Remy Ma, Nicki dropped “Regret In Your Tears” a thinly veiled shot at Meek. Fans have gone mad for this tune, with even the likes of Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez blasting it up on their Snapchat accounts. Understandably she’s probably pretty attached to such a personal and commercially successful track, which is why she didn’t react too well to Party Next Door insinuating that he ghostwrote the tune.

In a series of now deleted tweets PND wrote “I’m a fan of nicki minaj, We have a song together, I hope she’s as cool & as I’ve always imagined” and then simply “Befriend me.”

The tweets quickly disappeared but the internet never forgets and screenshots popped up almost instantly. Now Nicki has shot back at the indirect claims with her own series of tweets.

Fans have also pointed out that the track PND is referring to could be the pair’s recent collab with Major Lazer called “Run Up”, but if that’s the case, why’d he feel to delete the tweets? We’re fairly sure this isn’t over.
