It’s official – Nines’ latest LP Crabs In A Bucket has taken the top spot in the UK Album Charts on its debut week!

The north London artist was able to secure the number 1 spot after beating the likes of  Gregory Porter’s All Rise and Metallica’s S&M2.

Since being released last week, Nines’ third studio LP Crabs In A Bucket – which includes features from NSG, Skrapz, Nafe Smallz and more – has proven to be a hit with fans, with the Official Charts announcing earlier in the week that the project was the most streamed album “by far”.

Speaking on the huge achievement, Nines said: “Thanks to everyone that put me in this position, I still can’t believe I’m Number 1 – Finally won a golden boot!”

The album is Nines’ first ever UK number 1 but it’s not his first time in the charts as his debut album One Foot Out peaked at number 4 back in 2017, while his second LP Crop Circle peaked at number 4 in 2018.
