Pablo Esobar’s brother, Roberto Escobar, has surprisingly delved into the world of tech by launching a brand-new foldable gold smartphone.
Roberto has claimed the phone – which has already drawn comparisons to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold – is unbreakable.
Speaking to Digital Trends about the launch of the phone, Roberto Escobar said: “My phone cannot break, because I did not have to make a glass screen like Samsung.
“Our screen is made of a special type of plastic, and we still have the best resolution. Our special plastic is very difficult to break.”
Mr Escobar also revealed his plans to sue Apple for being “scammers” and “cheating the people and selling worthless phones.”
The phone will be sold at a price of $349 (£265).
If Roberto’s plan to dominate the smartphone market takes off, he could become a very wealthy man like his brother Pablo – one of the most wealthiest drug lords in history – who was listed as Forbes’ seventh richest man in the world with an estimated net worth of $9 billion ($7 billion) back in 1987.
Pablo was shot dead by police 25 years ago.
