A bunch of ignorant people have decided to plan a protest against Beyoncé’s Superbowl halftime performance. She performed her new single “Formation”, which is a homage to the sustained racism against black people taking place in America, referencing Hurricane Katrina and police brutality towards black people in the video.

The event was named “Anti-Beyoncé Protest Rally”, and was posted on Eventbrite. Scheduled to take place outside NFL’s headquarters in New York, the rally is justified by this short summary asking:

“Are you offended as an American that Beyoncé pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Super Bowl? Do you agree that it was a slap in God’s face to law enforcement? Do you agree that the Black Panthers was/is a hate group which should not be glorified?”

The organisers finish the advert with, ““Let’s tell the NFL we don’t want hate speech and racism at the Super Bowl ever again”, before including the hashtags “#BoycottBeyoncé, #BlueLivesMatter and #AllLivesMatter.”

America, you’ve got a long way to go.
